MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Associate degree in an Information Technology related field Minimum three years' experience supporting Microsoft operating systems and applications Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies such as TCP/IP, Routing, MPLS, VPN.
IT Analyst Experience in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise technologies such as Cisco routers/switches/firewalls, NetApp, VMware, MS Azure (GCC High environment, a plus), On-premises Windows Server, Microsoft Operation Systems, SQL Server, Tape/Disk Backup (Commvault, BackupExec), VOIP (Teams Phone platform a plus), Video Conferencing, HP/Cisco hardware (server and client), etc.
Working knowledge in Active Directory Knowledge of PowerShell/ Scripting, a plus ABOUT THE JOB:
An IT Analyst is responsible for onsite service and support needs for one or more of Gentex's facilities.
This relates to all technology, to include workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software, maintain corporate client software and hardware standards for computer/computer peripherals and clone image, track corporate software licensing, research and evaluate new client technology, and maintain client computer updates/patches.
Secondary functions would be hardware and software audits, document software and hardware installation instructions for use corporate wide, maintain a corporate software library, perform computer related hardware/software maintenance and repair.

Design/maintain corporate computer clone image.
Maintain a library of software for use corporate wide.
Complete client software and hardware audits.
Research and evaluate client software and hardware on a continuing basis.
Document software and hardware installation instructions for use corporate wide.
Maintain corporate wide software licensing database.
Assist in the management, development, and maintenance of the Active Directory Domain.
Perform computer related hardware/software maintenance and repair.
Serve as a backup for network operations, and the programming of customized software.
Provide IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's operating systems and core business applications, as well as virtual environments built on Citrix, Microsoft, and VMware.
Support services for Microsoft related technologies:
Windows Operation Systems, Azure, On premise Windows Servers, Teams Phone platform, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
Assist the services and projects team with onsite and remote support as needed.
Technical services and support at the network level:
WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
Remote access solution implementation and support:
VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix.
System documentation to include system reviews and recommendations.
Communication with customers as required:
keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
Maintain Helpdesk trouble ticket queues and support issue knowledgebase.
