Established in 1963, Pine Haven is located on 100 acres in Allenstown, NH and welcomes boys ages 6 to 15.
Job Description:
-We are looking for a short term substitute teacher to cover one of our classrooms for approximately 8-12 weeks starting the beginning of January 2024.
- performs all the general duties and responsibilities of the Teacher - participates in each child's behavior program as set forth in their Treatment Plan - attends/participates in required meetings - prepares necessary reports under the supervision and with the consultation of the appropriate certified teaching Staff Qualifications Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
Completion of a two-year program with a major course of study focused on Education or a high school graduate with previous training and experience is required.
Individuals must possess the verbal techniques necessary to de-escalate a crisis situation and the physical ability to control aggressive, violent behavior in a therapeutic, safe way.
Must be able to become certified in Crisis Prevention Intervention.
